We are all used to the fact that the games Naughty Dog is working on, are simply perfect in every sense, and this is also expected from The Last Of Us Part 2. For this reason, it was the decision to move the release date by more than 3 months. than it is planned. The game is set to appear on February 21, 2020 and the new date is May 29. The move of the date was tried to be justified by Neil Druckman, the creative director of the game, stating that there were only two options at the moment, either to announce the game when it was said, but at the expense of the quality of the game and the loss of the expiriense of the players, or for the game to appear some months later. Not only will it have enough time to give fans a quality title, as they used to, the team working on the game will be saved from stress, pressure and ultimately failure. Certainly a large number of fans have accepted this news very well because it is understandable why all this happened. It is definitely worth the wait for a new sequel to The Last Of Us, as the first part was a masterpiece as well.
