Ofiice in Japan has released patent images of the new PlayStation 5 controller, and the controller itself was sent to developers for testing. As you can see from the pictures, it is a controller very similar to the DualShock 4. The changes that are visible are noticeably smaller analog sticks, and a USB C port for charging the battery. In addition, as we wrote earlier, it will feature new vibration technology for maximum feel as well as a much improved speaker. It also states that it will be a few grams heavier than the DualShock 4 because of the vibration equipment and the slightly larger capacity of the rechargeable battery. Rumor has it that the backlight on the controller has been removed, but that is not definite. It's a patent, of course, so any of this may change until the PlayStation 5 console is released.
