Some essential information from Microsoft has arrived regarding their new Xbox console. What matters to everyone are the technical characteristics that are very good:
CPU: 8x Cores @ 3.8 GHz (3.66 GHz w/ SMT) Custom Zen 2 CPU
GPU: 12 TFLOPS, 52 CUs @ 1.825 GHz Custom RDNA 2 GPU
Ram Memory: 16 GB GDDR6 w/ 320Mb bus
Ram Memory Speed : 10GB @ 560 GB/s, 6GB @ 336 GB/s
SSD : 1 TB Custom NVME SSD
I/O : 2.4 GB/s (Raw), 4.8 GB/s (Compressed)
External SSD Support : 1 TB Expansion Card
Additional HDD Support : USB 3.2 External HDD
Optical : 4K UHD Blu-Ray Drive
Resolution : 4K @ 60 FPS, Up to 120 FPS
The SSD will be custom-made for the Xbox Series X console only, so it will probably be the most expensive item, the console comes with 1TB of storage, but will be able to expand with another 1TB drive manufactured by Seagate. What was known before has now been confirmed, which is that the console will have hardware features of Ray Tracing technology, and will be added to some pre-existing games. There's also Quick Resume technology that lets you start several games at once and switch from one game to another in seconds without shutting down games. As for the controller, it comes in a matte finish, and unfortunately to many users , it will still use two AA batteries to power it. The big differences from the previous controllers will not be, except for the minimal in design, the buttons on the back will have a texture for better grip, and a button for making in-game shots is added, without going into additional options. Today the PS5 details are also scheduled, so we hope to have details on the new Sony console soon.
