While we all thought the new Horizon game might be a title that would be available right next to the PlayStation 5, it’s still not, we can conclude from a statement by Mathijis de Jonge of Guerilla Games studio working on the new Horizon game.
Forbidden West puts you back in the role of Alloy, a hunter of the Nora tribe whose path is full of obstacles and challenges. The map of the game is slightly larger than the previous one, and stretches from Utah all the way to the Pacific, so a great adventure awaits you with many things to explore, both on land and underwater. Although the map is really large, the fast PlayStation 5 console SSD will allow you to travel quickly from one end of the map to the other in an instant, so there will be no visually visible transition from one part of the map to another. Alloy will meet a dozens of new dangerous machines, as well as other tribes, some of which are peaceful, but some of them will attack you, and they also have the ability to train metal animals, which will make it harder to fight them. There are, of course, weather conditions, a plague called Red Blight that destroys the entire ecosystem, as well as massive storms and winds.
