As we have assumed, the game is closely related to Wildlands, because the main protagonist is exactly the leader of the Wildlands team,Nomad. The action of the game itself is set in the fictitious Aurora archipelago in the Pacific. You are in the role of Nomad, who remains trapped on a mysterious island after the enemy drones destroy his helicopter. The main opponent in the game is rogue member of the Ghost unit, Cole D. Walker, who leads a dangerous army called Wolves.
It's of course a game of an open world, full of diverse landscapes from the desert, through thick jungles to snowy mountains, and this time nature will be against you, so you'll have to be careful not to hurt, for example, falling from the height, because you will have to personally heal the injury. You will also be able to take advantage of the environment and give yourself an edge, camouflage among the bushes or quickly sink into the mud and wait for the enemy. Like Wildlands, you will be able to play the campaign alone or with friends (Coop of 4 players in total), and also PVP mode will be available right after the release, which has not been revealed much.
It's great to see Wildlands's continuation! Breakpoint will be available for PC, Xbox One and Playstation 4, and the release date is October 4, 2019.
